Alas, although ATI did add AIGLX support to their latest fglrx driver, it basically sucks. I'll hazard a guess that it's some fancy functionality that Intel onboard graphics don't provide. i just did a package search via the slick package search gui @ http://packages.slackware.it and I found that it resides in the package x/x11-skel-7.1-noarch-6.tgz ...

Based on the posts on that report, it seems like it is only a cosmetic issue and does not inhibit aiglx or direct rendering in any way. I think gentoo does a good job with regards to CVS packages..... Should i install the proprietary drivers instead ??? http://need2learn.net/3d-driver/3d-driver-claims-to-not-support-visual.html NWN uses OpenGL and SDL library._________________If God were a pickle, I'd still say "no pickle on my burger".
